I’m Tracy, the heart behind Rustic Gem Jewelry. My journey into jewelry making began during a challenging time — 12 long weeks of bed rest while pregnant with my second son. To keep my sanity, I taught myself to make jewelry, and what began as a simple hobby quickly turned into a passion and eventually my dream job!
My jewelry is inspired by the vibrant energy of big city fashion and the calm beauty of Northern California, where I’m lucky enough to live. Every piece I create reflects these contrasting influences, blending elegance with a touch of nature's charm. I carefully select natural gemstones and use gold-filled and sterling silver chains to make sure that each piece not only looks stunning but also lasts, becoming a treasured part of your collection.

Many of my designs begin with inspiration from the effortless beauty of nature and the quiet strength of a confident woman. Gemstones With Meaning
I use natural, high-quality gemstones in my designs because I believe jewelry should be more than just trendy and sparkly—it should also feel meaningful.
There’s something powerful about wearing a piece made with real stones from the earth. They add a sense of grounding and confidence, perfectly complementing the modern, expressive style of my designs.

I use 14-karat gold-filled and sterling silver chains in all my designs.
Gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of gold that is bonded to a base metal, making it far more durable than gold-plated pieces and resistant to tarnishing with proper care.
Sterling silver is another classic option that can be polished to maintain its bright, clean finish for years.
The earring posts, clasps, and other metal components in my designs are made from high-quality gold or silver-plated brass.
Brass is naturally hypoallergenic, making it a great choice for sensitive skin. The thick plating ensures each piece holds up well over time while allowing me to keep my designs at an accessible price point.
